This painting is on sanded, translucent white Poly-carbonate plastic, and then the details are etched by hand. This work is intended to be back-lighted such as a window, door, or a lighted box. This image came to me on Good Friday and overtook me and I could not paint it fast enough. The scratched, etched details were likewise a work of passion. It is a truly haunting reminder of the suffering that Jesus endured on our behalf.
