In the Bible the book of Revelation, chapter 19 deals with the last moments of human history. It tells the story of the Battle of Armageddon. In the artwork that I have created here, I sought to capture the very last instant of human history, when Jesus has finally had enough. He has held his tongue for over two thousand years now...but He will NOT always do that. The bible tells how he unleashes all of that stored-up wrath over the evils of humanity, and unleashes it upon the evil armies of the world, who have gathered together in Israel to try to wipe out the Jews from planet earth. It didn't work out so well for Hitler...and it really won't come out well at that final battle. This gigantic 88 inch wide piece took me many weeks to create, all day, everyday. It is a mixed medium piece drawn and painted on sanded, 3/16 inch thick, Poly-carbonate plastic. *Please see the zoom details
