This is one is an L or Layer, and part of a huge photographic BIRD series that I have worked on since 1994. I will be posting many selections from this landmark series, dealing with all forms of nature. My quest and objective is to really SEE and CAPTURE the minute details of the most common elements of God's creation. This exploration led me to the development of a great number of works which are derived from overlapping and layering natural elements. This technique is my own, and it is achieved through a very delicate balancing of photos, artwork, form, color, contrast, and texture. There are a number of processes that I go through to reach this highly defined look.
