Sunflower 32 Cent Canvas Print

I shot this photo of a sunflower, but not the golden part, I shot a green, immature sunflower. I was fascinated by the pattern of the tiny seed pods. This is one of a huge series that I have worked on for years. I will be posting many selections from this landmark series. My quest and objective was to really SEE the minute details of the most common elements of God's design work. This exploration led me to the development of a great number of works which are derived from the overlapping and layering of these simple forms over themselves to create these secondary geometrical patterns. My goal is to help others to learn to SEE as I do.
