This work is one that comes from my soul, and my heart. I see this image in my heart, on every stage that I perform on. I portray THE BLACKSMITH who made the Nails, named Obadiah. So, I have pondered these nails for decades, and still do. A very real, and completely human man took our place on that cross, with all of the same nerve endings to feel, absorb, and be tormented by all of those spiked thorns running through his flesh, and those cold, steel nails being hammered through his body. It was the boundless Love of Jesus that held Him on that cross...not just nails. YES Jesus Loves YOU...and even me...in spite of me.
